Local to Fly Over Shea Stadium for the Mets Home Opener

Brian Lauber, grandson of Alan and Lois Schneider of Summit, is a Lieutenant currently serving in the US Navy.Ê Lt. Lauber will show off his F18 Super Hornet, along with three other pilots, at the New York Mets home opener at Shea Stadium on Tuesday, April 8. He is presently stationed at the Naval Base in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with the distinguished duty as a Top Gun Instructor. Lt. Lauber recently completed three years aboard the USS Kitty Hawk, an Aircraft Carrier stationed in Japan.

Lt. Lauber is a Summit native and grandson of Lois Schneider, Founder and President of Lois Schneider Realtor in Summit.
