2007 Luminary Check Presentations

The charitable spirit is alive and well. On Monday, February 4, checks were presented to this yearÕs Luminary Fund beneficiaries at the home of Lois Schneider, underwriter of the event. Each year, the Summit Luminary Fund earmarks proceeds from the sale of luminaries on December 24th for various charitable organizations. This yearÕs beneficiaries were The Valerie Fund Camp Happy Times, Senior Connections, Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad, SHIP Summit Helping Its People, and ABC Area Baby Center. Through the energy and the enthusiasm of the community, the 2007 Summit Luminary Fund experienced record success, raising over $50,000.
